I visited on Good Friday for dinner hoping to try the new Churrasco Thigh Burger but I was disappointed to be told that they had “sold out of thighs” and so it was unavailable when I went to place my order.
Instead ordered a chicken breast burger with the sweet potato wedges with a soft drink.
This was the first time I have tried the sweet potato wedges and I really enjoyed them, I felt the dip and seeds that was provided with them really worked well together and I’m pleased to say I have found myself a new fav Nandos menu item.
Unfortunately the chicken breast burger wasn’t as enjoyable for me. For some reason cheese has been added to the burger even though I had not ordered or paid for this and the chicken breast itself was dry and overcooked.
A mixed visit on this occasion, this Nandos is often busy and in a great location if shopping in the city centre but I prefer the nearby Nandos location at the hub which is only 10 mins walk away.
Still my main thought went leaving was how good the new sweet potato wedges are and that I look forward to having them again soon!
