Milton Keynes - Xscape - Archive Review
We parked up for free outside on a busy Sun day night, and as expected we had a 30-odd minute wait for a table in the pretty small, yet brightly decorated restaurant.
We decided to watch half of a film in the nearby cinema before heading back to Nando's, but eventually in Nando's 25 at Xscape, Milton Keynes.
The time we spent queuing for the food seemed a bit over the top, considering how overstaffed they seemed, this pretty small Nando's was poor. They seemed very very overstaffed, but still rather slow.
Even once the crowds of diners had moved on, some staff (namely a tall guy called Jonas) seemed to loiter around our table uneasily. Seems like they don't have very good management/delegation here.
Sadly, the food wasn't all that. Chewy/dry chicken. We've all had it before, and it's disappointing when you wait this long for a table, order a whole chicken, then end up with a sub-standard meal.
Overall this place probably gets enough customers not to need to bother thinking about improvement, which is a shame really, as given a bit of time (and possibly a bit more space), this could be a really good location to have a Nando's.
