Mississauga - Britannia - Anonymous Review
We came on Friday June 17, 2022 to dine in, 3 people. The waitress at the reception asked us to seat ourselves and do the order at the counter. The room was crowded and there are not too many options to pick from. one of us is 6'3 and 400lb, so we wanted a table with a bit extra room. We found one on the corner that seats 6. We placed and paid for our order. After 15 minutes and while waiting for our food to come, a waitress came and asked us to move to a smaller booth, in case a bigger group came in. We explained that the other booths won't fit our guy because they are very tight and hardly fit 4 regular size people. She insisted, so we decided to take out our food and not dine in. We were hurt, disappointed and embarrassed by the incident. Everyone around us heard the discussion and we felt that this place has no accommodation to special needs, and doesn't respect their customers. They are very rude and unprofessional. They should assign someone to seat the customers instead of moving them around and embarras and shame them. they could have showed us to seats so we can decide if to stay or leave before we buy the foid. It felt as a trap and unprofessional. Not going there again, and shame on you Nandos for your lack of accommodation and not being inclusive and professional.
I complained on Nando's website, but they didn't have the courtesy to respond or acknowledge my concerns.
