Muscat - Al Mouj - James RYN Review
Our third Nando's of the trip to Oman and this one took us to the beautiful new housing and leisure development at Al Mouj. Other than the Nando's, there are many restaurants and coffee bars, as well as a lovely marina to walk the food off afterwards.
We sat outside on the main promenade which had a fantastic ambiance; a very rare 5/5 for a Nando's. The only criticism I might have is that it is quite dark outside, so some of us had to use our phones to light up the menu. I also went inside to use the toilet later on, and it had a fancy interior as well.
Service was average but the food came slightly quicker than the 2/5 experienced the other day at Avenues Mall. I went for the Espetada Carnival again and enjoyed it just as much as before - I really wish they would introduce this in the UK! I tried the wedges instead of the fries for a change which were also very nice. Halloumi on the side was very different to the UK, being a bit too salty to be enjoyable - I was gasping for water after each bite!
Overall probably the best Nando's of this trip. Unfortunately I'm not going to have time to go to the 4th and final Omani Nando's, but that can only mean I'll need to visit again soon!
