Additional Comments - This will make you stand out in the competition! Unique aspects? Student discounts? Parking tips?:

My final Nando's of the year and indeed the decade, and what better scenario than a new Nandos' in a new Nando's country! Turns out Nando's in Oman is almost identical to UAE and Qatar, with the menu being more or less exactly the same as the one I saw in Qatar back in September.

As usual for the Middle East, we were served at the table. This is always slightly frustrating as we had to wait for the waiter to come to take our order, and getting drinks refilled meant first finding the waiter. That said, the service was good on the whole, and the staff were very friendly. They also corrected a corn which came out far too spicy considering it was ordered with plain chicken! Speaking of corn, this may have been the most unique part of the meal, since they said they usually put sauce on the corn by default, to match the spice of the chicken ordered - a nice touch!

The food itself was well received across the party of six. I had the Espetada Carnival which I had previously had in Qatar, and it did not disappoint! I wish they would bring this dish to the UK - the feta and parsley stuffed thighs smothered in Extra Hot sauce go down an absolute treat. The main reason I'm not awarding a 5/5 is that the rice was somewhat average, being more of an Indian-style pilau than the Nando's style I'm used to. Pilau rice doesn't go particularly well with Nando's sauce, so I won't be ordering it again!

Overall a great last Nando's of the decade, and I'm looking forward to trying the others in Oman over the coming days.
