New Malden - Pompey Ranger Review
This store at the south end of the main shopping street in New Malden which has a strong Korean feel, I arrived at the train station which is at the north end of the same street. The store is on the corner of a large roundabout which it makes use of by having large windows going around along the angled side with some iron work in the window. I can see them putting blinds in the windows in the future as the winter sun streamed in a little harsh.
The interior is bright with parquet flooring coming up to a central tiled area, copper pipe work lighting on the ceiling and gold cymbol like discs on the wall which seperated the till and beverage/sauce station area from the main seating area. The tables around the window are circular with circular chairs with arms, the tables in the middle square with orange and yellow classroom style chairs. There are padded booths along the dividing wall from the till area and there is padded benching along the back wall below some good pieces of art.
The toilets are new fresh and clean with a feature bright yellow circular mirror above an equally brilliant yellow trough sink and Dyson airblade dryer. The tiling was very good with patterns and a varying scheme.
The Food was very good, the chicken was spot on just as I like it and succulent and tasty and cooked well, the mash was good and microwaved spot on, nice and moist, no crusty bits.
The staff whilst freindly enough didn't do the check backs on food or offering dessert which I had been very tempted by so I was disappointed by this, hopefully they will be up to scratch on this soon enough.
A nice store to visit, would come again.
