New Malden - qprvicky Review
This was a belated leaving do with some colleagues from my job I left just before Christmas. Most of them had not been to this Nandos before and they all commented on how nice and spacious it was, as well as that the decor was really nice. They all had driven or taken public transport and found parking easy and transport links good (lots of local free roads for parking and near several bus routes and the mainline train to waterloo). There were quite a few of us so we had to wait a few minutes for them to put a table together but after that it was smooth sailing. Some of the food took a little while to come out - but as there were quite a few of us that seems fair enough. The food was great quality as ever.
Over the shoulders of my friends I could see a face I recognised, but it was only as she was leaving that I realised who it was - TV presenter Debbie Greenwood, her husband Paul Coia and their children. I've known for years they are local, but had not seen them. Later that night I tweeted Nandos to say it was good to see her in there and her and the family must have good taste - and she replied! That is as exciting as it gets in New Malden so that was pretty cool, and nice to have Nandos as part of the fun!
