North Lakes - Anonymous Review
HOLY CRAP this place has gone to the dogs! We’ve ordered here for so many years now and never had problems. Food used to be ready on time, hot, generous and service was good. Not sure what happened these last few months for things to get SO horribly bad - and this is not based on just one bad experience.
Tonight was the icing on the cake though: I ordered on the app, got a message that it was ready and when I went to pick up 20 minutes later, first I had to stand at the counter for quite a long time while everybody ignored me, did not even acknowledge my presence or ask me to wait. Then the girl at the counter (who seemed so hugely disinterested in her job) asked me for my name 3 times, read the confirmation message with my name on it another 3 times and told me my order was not ready. I sat there for another 20 minutes and when I went to ask her again she pretended she couldn’t hear me calling her twice and then did me the big favour of turning around, asked for my name AGAIN then discovered that my order was already sitting there since I arrived - I was just wasting my time waiting while my food got cold because she was incompetent at her job.
No apology was offered, on the contrary SHE seemed really annoyed with ME. This girl needs to get a job where listening, reading and customer service are not requirements. She clearly doesn’t want to be there and shouldn’t be. It is shocking that she still has a job with that level of total incompetence, bad attitude and rudeness. This has to be THE worst customer service I have experienced in recent memory if not of all time and I am so disappointed I got to experience this at a business I’ve been loyal to for so many years.
Looking at all your latest reviews I can see this is a real massive problem that you’re just burying your head in the sand and refusing to address. We used to love Nandos and as sad as it is for us, this was the last straw and WE WON’T EVER BE BACK!
