Having secured tickets to BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend, the only decision to make hinged upon take-away or eat-in with time not on our side after the drive from London. We opted for a take-away and so we called the restaurant when we were half an hour away and put everything through.
We were warmly welcomed on arrival after parking in a nearby car park that charged £2.40 an hour. We went straight to the till and I paid for our meals. The Nandoca was very patient and helpful, given that she went as far as to split the orders so I could get a stamp on two Nando's cards!
I went over to the sauce counter to mix up my own perinaise and the take-away bags arrived instantly. The food was delicious and I loved the wrap system whereby you rip off the cardboard as you get further into your wrap and funny messages go with each rip. The only reason it's not a 4 is that my extra hot chicken could have been spicier. Apart from that, this was a very successful Nandventure and part of a wonderful weekend!
