Working in Kent gave me the chance to try two new Nando's - with the first of the evening being Orpington's second one located in the Walnuts Shopping Centre. There's an Odeon in the complex, as well as a PureGym and lots of other shops. Parking is available at the centre from 6am-1am daily priced at £1/1hr, £1.50/2hrs, £2/3hrs, £4/4hrs, £4/6hrs and £10/6hrs+ - although you have to pass quite a few spaces on the street so can park in any of those if they aren't already taken up by people using the Walnuts Leisure Centre. Orpington Train Station is also just under a mile walk away.

Arrived here around 7pm and it was full with a 15 minute wait for a table - but despite that, the food came in just over five minutes. Half chicken, chips and rice came and they were all cooked fine - nothing special, all average portion sizes, chicken was saucy enough - all just bog standard. Staff were pleasant enough too, just getting the tables turned as quickly as possible.

Inside this is just one big square with large two-seater green booths running down one side of the windows, three large six-seater booths by the till and lots of other banquette style seating. The two standout bits here by far are the enormous hanging sculpture above the middle of the restaurant and then the enormous painted face mural by the till wall, which is right ahead of you when you walk through the door. Very impressive. Toilets had some nice green metal sinks in them but water was everywhere over the top and floor. Six or so tables outside too.
