Preston - Deepdale - Pompey Ranger Review
This store at the Deepdale shopping centre is on the outskirts of town but benefits from masses of free parking around it and has the competition of KFC, Greggs, McDonalds, Costa and Subway around it.
The day of my visit they were suffering from severe traffic jams due to nearby roadworks.
As I arrived at 11:40 I was the first customer of the day and interrupted the staff cleaning but they still seemed delighted to greet me, I wasn't alone for long as the hoards arrived in quick succession with post kids foot ball treats to ladys that do lunch it quickly filled.
The decor was light and colourful and had a good quantity of artwork in abounds, a wall of glass patio doors separated the outside eating area from that of in store. I ordered my food and had the delight of being asked "how spicey do you want your corn", I have never had a bad meal from a place that cares enough to not only marinate your corn during cooking but to also check what intensity you want it.
The food took a while, probably as I was the first customer but when it was cooked and delivered to my table it was spot on and a real treat with the succulent chicken cooked just to my liking and the chips hot and plentiful.
I would return to this store as it was very good
