Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:

Burnley away was not a fixture to be missed and this was the closest Nando's to the ground believe it or not! A pre-match chicken fix was in store after a relatively pleasant 3-hour drive north. We did come across some football traffic in Preston given Deepdale is just across the road from the leisure park and we arrived just after 2pm.

We were seated immediately in a nice bright Nando's with a large front letting in natural light from the car park. The lighting is pretty funky with a swirl of chillis lining the restaurant.

The staff were all enthusiastic and one in particular was especially encouraging given his football allegiance with Blackburn meant he was supporting Arsenal for the day against his team's local rivals.

The food arrived soon enough but was not quite as I'd have liked. Not enough sauce, not the biggest chicken (this is a Halal Nando's, no coincedence), and a laughable amount of peri salt on the chips which a Nandoca soon rectified with an additional tub.

The meal saw me through the game which we won 1-0 so all in all, a new Nando's and an Arsenal away win at a new ground can only be considered a great day even though the food wasn't as tasty as usual.
