Putney - Gerry Louis Review
This is definitely one of the best Nando's in London. Consistently great staff, happy, enthusiastic and attentive, waiting time is minimal and the restaurant serves amazing food.
Got there just after 7, was greeted and seated straight away though I thought I would be the last of my companions to arrive. Was seated at a table just in front of the till and grill area so it was very quick to order when Jackie and Christine showed up. A hungry me, I ordered a free half chicken mango and lime, peri chips, garlic bread, sweet mash and halloumi.
It arrived in 7 minutes though the chips were missing but it was a large portion when it did arrive just like everything else. The halloumi was only lightly grilled so not burnt at all, mash was a perfect consistency no lumps and tasted great. The garlic bread was fine and I have no complaints about the chicken whatsoever.
This is a small branch but it packs a punch. There is seating upstairs and also the toilets. Only two but they have the washing basin and hand dryer in there making great use of the space. When a customer broke a glass downstairs, not one but two members of staff came out to clean up the mess. I know a certain branch that could learn from them.
