I've been to Reading quite a few times over the years, though the Nando's have always eluded me for some reason. Today was time to put that right, and I was pleasantly surprised with this visit.

The highlight was the food, which was exceptionally executed. My order was simple (Extra Hot pitta with cheese and pineapple, and rice), though prepared to perfection. The pitta maintained its form throughout the gnawing, and the pineapple didn't drip all over the plate as can sometimes happen. It was also placed well on the melted cheese, so it didn't slide around inside the bread. Sauce was plentiful, resulting in just the right amount of spice, and the rice was also a huge portion, steaming hot from the microwave, and without a dry clump in site. Bravo!

No complaints about the staff and speed of service, though no decoration to write home about, other than some moderately interesting stained-glass windows. I'd definitely return, though need to visit the Oracle Centre first.
