Reading Gateway Nando's is easily accessible and has free parking right outside in the retail park. There are four or five tables outside and our timing was good for a pleasant meal outside with the sun peeping in and out of the clouds throughout.
The QR code system worked smoothly and the food came swiftly. Our order was accurate, portion sizes were good and the peri-peri sauce was plentiful! I didn't notice the spice in particular, so my only qualm is that my extra hot half chicken possibly could've been spicier.
The decor inside is hugely impressive. There are very high ceilings, lush green plants in between tables and some huge pieces of colourful artwork to take in. This Nando's was opened in January 2020 just before the pandemic started, and you can see that it's effectively still brand new!
