Ringwood - Eastland - Anonymous Review

This Nandos has gone downhill and it’s very disappointing. The last 5 times we have been here we have either been told there is no chicken so could not order or there was takeaway only due to short staff (even though there were people seated eating and staff in the kitchen). The one time we have managed to sit and eat we asked for a table outside and sat ourselves, we ordered some halloumi and drinks through the app to nibble while we decided what we wanted to eat. When we tried to order our mains the option to pick whole chicken wasn’t there so I went up to the counter and was advised there was no chicken and if we wanted to order it we would need to wait an hour. This seemed strange considering they are a chicken shop and had we been told this before we sat down and ordered some other things to nibble on while waiting for food we would have gone elsewhere but it was my birthday and we had already sat down so we decided to wait.
Although I don’t think the quality of the food itself has slipped it is not a good sign that we were only able to eat there 1/5 times we’ve attempted to recently. The customer service has severely declined and this is a detriment to the business.
When we visited on 22/07 this was one of the occasions where we were told we could not eat in. We went to TGI Friday instead and had a lovely meal.
We won’t be returning to this Nandos, which is a shame because we now have to drive out of our way to find a Nandos that will actually serve us.
