Rotherham - Parkgate - Pompey Ranger Review

A new store perched between a Subway and a KFC with McDonalds and Greggs both nearby on this retail park, plenty of parking some of which was very close in front of the store. There is a small patio seating area at the back of the store overlooking the KFC and there is a large tree at the front in a pot.

The inside was bright and airy with lots of wood, had a short wait for someone to come over to us to seat us. Many of the seats were reserved for xmas parties coming in and the staff seemed to spend a lot of time going around changing the number of menus they had put out on tables.

Toilets were clean and had both paper hand towels and electric dryer.

The girl on the till had moderate difficulty at comprehending how to use the till and she needed the help of an assistant and her manager to get there in the end. I kind of wanted to step in and do it myself but I think that would have been frowned upon. The meal then took a little while to come out and whilst the chips were perfectly cooked and ample the chicken was cooked more than my liking and charred on the outside so had to remove the skin.

The check backs weren't too great either and no one came to offer us dessert which I had been planning on as a christmas treat and we managed to make our way out the store with no one coming to say goodbye.
