Rugby - Pompey Ranger Review
This store in a shopping complex on the outskirts of town has great connections for driving, though parking is harder to get, it is free when you find a space. I indulged in a little pre lunch shopping at TK Max.
The store is right upon a culvert or stream which with its exterior walls and the stone wall around the outside area resembles a moat and castle. I guess after stores were burnt in the London riots Nandos isn't taking any chances with this fortress . The entrance is the other side on the main entrance which seemed a little weird at first but with the loading bay there it is obviously to cater for takeaway pick ups.
The inside is bright and airy and very modern with great decor, what let it down was the floor strewn with crayons and lunch remnants. The toilets were clean zebra like and on an angle.
The person in front of me was complaining about having waited half an hour for their food to still not have come out. I was luckier mine only took 20 minutes.
Chips were nothing special and the chicken was cooked a bit more than I liked leaving the rice to hold up the game for nandos.
