Salisbury - Pompey Ranger Review
This store on the corner of Milford street and Queen street has a southern corner aspect on the edge of a pedestrianised area in the heart of historic Salisbury. I parked on Milford street which is free after 6pm Mon to Sat and after 4pm on Sun. I wouldn't recommend her at other times as not only is it a max 1 hour stay but costs £1.60 for that hour.
Spaced over 2 floors with large windows it is a very inviting light place with bright colours and decoration. I had a 20 minute wait for a table in the queue which was quickly out the door and then also a long wait on food of about 18 minutes. The chicken was a touch dry and a bit charred on the outside and it wasn't the biggest portion of chips which was a bit disappointing. I was however recognised by one of the staff up from Portsmouth who told me it was the first day that Salisbury staff had gone it alone which explained the long waits. I did get a free chocolot cake from the Portsmouth manager which was a treat.
The store was very clean and the toilets were bright and colourful with yellow tiles upstairs though there is a lift to get to there and there is a second till and beverage and sauce station along with a couple of wicker eggs. Was very disappointed as was a couple of weeks prior to the end of the old reward cards and they had lost their stamp so they couldn't stamp my card.
