Sevenoaks - Ryan Review
Onto the second Nando's of the night and this was Sevenoaks. This Nando's is just off the High Street, which does offer parking on spaces all along for up to 2 hours, priced at 40p/30mins, 80p/1hour and £1.50/2hrs 8:30am-9:30pm - otherwise the nearest car park (Blighs) is priced at 70p/30mins, £1.50/1hr, £3/2hrs, £5/3hrs and £10/4hrs (max stay) Mon-Sat 8:30am-9:30pm. For a few minutes walk away, the Stag Theatre car park is priced at £1 per hour then £4.50/5hrs+ Mon-Sat 8:30am-9:30pm. Sevenoaks train station is just over half a mile walk away.
Arrived here around 9pm and the restaurant had started to quieten down so was seated right away. There are a good mix of seats here with the larger square booths in the middle of the restaurant with some funky triangular sculptures with light bulbs on them. There's also a handful of tables outside (about six circular tables) as well as upstairs having another four tables, three of which are square booths - with the toilets also being upstairs (clean with a big green marble effect sink). There's a nice feature wall as you walk in, but the best thing by far is the big yellow spiral staircase to get you upstairs - nice and bright. Certainly a good newly decorated Nando's... maybe needed just a tad more oomph.
Food came in just under five minutes and was delicious. I went for the Peri-Berry Burger and chips and the chip portion was much larger than my earlier one and there were hot and crispy. The chicken portion on the burger was also a good size and cooked well - saucy and juicy and there was plenty of sweet berry sauce too.
Staff did as expected. Overall a nice visit.
