Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:
I'm spoiled for choice when it comes to unvisited Nando's in the Newcastle area, but I chose this one due to effortless free parking right outside. Luckily it was a great pick!
The restaurant wasn't very given it is a leisure complex, and it was barely 12.30 when I arrived. Seated immediately and also ordered immediately, the staff were very friendly and the woman who checked on my table even introduced herself by name. Food came in just about 5 minutes, so a close 5/5, and was very good.
Pitta itself was slightly on the small side, hence 4.5/5, though it was very tender and dripping in sauce (which found its way all over my fingers - mmmm). The chip portion was too big to finish, despite being a single, and well cloaked in peri salt. No bitty chips, and all piping hot, as expected from a 5 minute delivery.
Decoration is standard for a new Nando's, with not much artwork, but some interesting designs on the walls. Overall I would definitely recommend and return, but not until I visit all the other Nando's Newcastle (and surrounding area) have to offer.
