St Pauls - One New Change - Blaynos Review
Not the best Nando's experience I've ever had. Granted, I went during the lunch rush in the heart of the City - but even taking that into account, it was somewhat mediocre. It's not the easiest branch to find; it's in what looks like a new shopping/restaurant complex but almost hidden away. It doesn't appear to be clearly signposted as we went the wrong way - as did the couple in front of us - when looking for it upon reaching the first floor. Upon arrival, there was no-one to meet'n'greet at the door (no-one even in sight) so we decided to take a rare empty table and finally attracted the attention of one of the waiter's a couple of minutes later. There was a queue to order/collect (unsurprisingly, lots of takeaways) and it seems strange that they have only three tills. It's a pretty small branch but the drinks machine is still obscured from view round a corner. My mate's food came even before I sat down with the cutlery - which was astonishing given people were being told "15-min wait"... but my food took somewhat longer to appear. There were no sauces available either but we asked a neighbouring table and they kindly gave us their bottles. The meal itself was fine - just seems the place is a bit understaffed (have to say, the staff were lovely once we were attended to).
