Got there about 6.45pm and the place was heaving. This place is always busy and orange weds probably doesn't help. But it's great that there's so much to do near the branch: cinema, harvesters, frankie & benny's and some rib place nearby. Up to twenty five minute wait and some 'confusion' as another Gerry tried to take my table... Nice try love!

The host was from Feltham Nando's and whilst he might not have recognised me he was very friendly, funny, chatty and helpful. We were finally given table 54 which is surprising as it doesn't look like here are 50 tables in here.. Waited in the queue for nearly ten minutes but the cashier was also smiley, happy and friendly so they have this down here. Separate cutlery and drinks section upstairs. This branch is sort of split into four, two sections downstairs and two up, though he staircase is inside the middle of the restaurant which I would hate sitting underneath if anyone had a nasty attitude walking down...

One of the things I love about this restaurant is the engraved tree in the wall on the left hand side as you come in. It's by the waiting area and it's like a family tree with pictures on separate branches. The Nando's Origins story is upstairs as you go to the loo and is very colourful. So enter downstairs, waiting area and kitchen to the left as you come in. Staircase straight ahead, tables underneath with tables round the right and against the wall, leather booths similar to upstairs to the right as well as two long tables for groups. Upstairs to the left about 10-15 mini couple tables or four sweaters all bunched together. This is I front of the tables also.

15 min wait for food which wasn't too bad. Again a quarter chicken mango and lime, sweet mash which was pulverised and flavourless. The chicken was cooked well, the garlic bread fully toasted and this time I did get peri chips like I wanted as when it's mixed with the lemon and herb sauce it creates a new flavour.

Good food, good service, location is okay, free parking after six pm, less than ten minute walk from the overground train station and close to bus terminus also.
