My first Nando's review! Forgive me if I'm rusty.

This restaurant is in the Peel Centre, the main retail park in Stockport. Adjacent to it is a KFC, so there is plenty for chicken lovers! Parking can be a pain during weekdays, but on this particular visit, I came on a Sunday evening, so it wasn't much of a problem. This was the probably the sixth or seventh time that I've come here, but only the first time that I've had to wait for a table. The waiting area is quite average in size, but during busy times it can be a little cosy. The interior is very neat and clean, with unusual hexagonal wood art on most of the ceiling, but is also well lit. There is also an outside area with five or six tables, with parasols, but I've never seen it open, simply because it has been far too cold every time I have visited! Toilets are at the back, separated from the rest of the restaurant by wood paneling, and they are always very clean.

I was told upon entering that I would have to wait around 25 minutes for a table, the first time I've had to at this Nando's and probably only the 4th time ever, which is quite impressive considering I've probably been to Nando's (to eat in) around 50 times. There were around seven or eight names ahead of mine, but I probably only had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, which was cleaned quickly and well. The queue for ordering was quite small, and I was asked at the till if I had a Nando's card. I was also asked if I wanted to use any of my rewards. The staff at the till were friendly and efficient, and the table with the sauces/cutlery was very tidy, with plenty of knives and forks, despite the fact it was a full house.

The food arrived within 15 minutes, quite good considering how busy it was. The sides (spicy rice and peri-peri salted chips) were excellent, but the butterfly chicken was a little burnt on the outside, and even a little of the small side! Generally the quality decreases as the number of customers increases, but the food was good enough regardless. They seemed to handle the number of customers quite well, clearing and cleaning tables very quickly. This was probably the worst experience I've had at this Nando's, but still quite an enjoyable one, which, if anything, shows how good this store is. Nando's, as a whole, has yet to disappoint me.
