First of all I absolutley LOVE Nando's and cannot get enough of it!!
But this time at Nnando's in Stockton Heath, I wasnt impressed. I have dined here twice now, once with my mum and once with my boyfriend.
First of all, when we arrived there was a big group of people all congregating on the inside of the door. We stood there for about ten minutes waiting for someone to come and take our name as this is what they nirmally do. Nobody did though. Then a member of staff came and said "your all together arent you".. quite a few of us said no. She took myself and my partner to a table of two and quite rudely said "youve been here before havnt you",, she obviously remembered me from the last time when i sent our dishes back as we had rotten, brown, soggy lettuce on our pitta's!
Anyway..I went to cue up and waited about 10 minutes to order as the guy serving must have been new. I over heard the man in front of me order some olives to start. The guy serving gave him his glasses and took his money and then went to seve me. The man asked for the olives he had paid for and they guy argued thsat he never ordered any. This took a while and added on more minutes for queuing. Finally I was seen to and the order wen quite swiftly, although the guy disappeared withn my nandos loyalty card for a few minutes!! In went back to the table and wen to get some drinks (which were fine), ketchup (the bottles were empty), knifes and forks and (none left. The most frustatrating thing about this dining expereince was the fact that I saw our meals under the lights on the cooking shelves in front of us, they were left there for 20 minutes. I know they are kept hot but this isnt the point. I knew they were ours but didnt want to say anything just in case! They were brought to us and I asked for some cutlery and ketchup, he quite rudely shunned me and got them for me ten minutes later!! Anyway, there is free parking on a road nearby if it isnt to busy. Otherwise parking is paid and a short walk away. Not the best nando's experience ive had I have to say!
