Stratford - Romford Road - Marc Joss Review
An Arsenal victory at West Ham was followed by a visit to an East End Nando's which I had previously never frequented along with SVC. I arrived first and was told there would be a 10 minute wait so I left and returned at the agreed time to find my table ready, waiting for me. This Nando's has been refurbished in the last few years which shows in the reviews! It is now a beautiful, modern restaurant with colourful seating (similar to Nottingham Giltbrook Nando's) and there are close to, if not more than, a hundred pots from the floor to the ceiling separating part of the restaurant.
It was a busy Boxing Day evening but the queue to order was still short and food arrived within 15 minutes which is reasonable when a restaurant is packed out. My food was delicious when it arrived, the chicken was dripping in sauce, big portion sizes (even though this is a Halal Nando's) and everything was great. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for SVC whose double chicken wrap was dry and bland but that was seen to by the management.
All in all, this Nando's was a fitting way to end the day. Stratford Westfield is nearby too of course and it's hard for me to choose between them!
