Stratford... lovely, lovely Stratford. I thought Feltham was lovely, but Stratford is even lovelier... I think I will stick to the Baird's hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon though...

As you'd expect, parking is more restricted during the day, but after 6:30pm you can parking in any on-street bay parking until 8am for free and there are loads of bays in side streets. The Westfield is less than 15 minutes walk away and is priced at £2.50/1hr, £5/24hrs Mon-Fri with Sat/Sun priced at £2.50/1hr, £5/2hrs, £8/24hrs. If you're up for a further walk and want to buy a pack of gum then a Tesco and Asda are both a mile walk away and offer free parking with an in-store purchase. Stratford and Maryland train stations are less than half a mile walk away.

Got here about 8:30 and it was almost full. It's quite a big restaurant with some 40-50 tables. There's a big wall of clay pots/vases which go from the floor to the ceiling. Behind them is where the restaurant really opens up - there are a couple of big circular booths and other booths with plenty more tables. The decoration is also nice with plenty of canvas paintings and different metal coloured light shades. Infront of the vases there a a few more booths but mainly tables/chairs and more artwork - and a very big waiting area by the entrance at the front (and a roped area for queuing at the till albeit it's big enough for two people to queue).

The food came in 13 minutes and it was a let down. I'd had the butterfly chicken breast meal three times over the past few days and each time in had been succulent and hot... but on this occasion it was dry, really dry. Very stringy and tough to chew. It had gone beyond a bit a charring on the skin too and was burnt. The rice was also cold and a little crunchy which was a shame. The chips were actually great - an enormous portion and hot and crispy... Just a shame about the rest of it!

Staff were fine and doing as expected.
