Onto my second Nando's and back down the Piccadilly line to Finsbury Park and Stroud Green Nando's! I was on the tube so it's just a few minutes walk from Finsbury Park tube station, but there also seemed to be plenty of on-street parking, priced at £0.20/10mins or £1.20/hr Mon-Sat 08:30-18:30 and free outside these times.

Arrived here at about 9:15pm and there were just a few tables in use, but staff seemed a bit sparse... I was greeted, served at the till and table and had my food cooked by the same chap! Even with all that, the food still came in less than five minutes too... but on this occasion , the food did show that...

I had a half chicken, ratatouille and chips and the leg that came was completely inedible. It was cold, slimy, greasy and was all pink or dark red meat - not one bit of it had any white meat. BUT, the breast piece (which was absolutely huge), was the complete opposite in that it was badly burnt on the outside and very, very dry on the inside - a very tough and chewy piece of meat indeed. These two pieces of meat had clearly not been cooked together, but to get two portions of meat cooked so differently on the same plate was a new one on me. The portion of chips was also huge but all of them were cold and soggy and must have been sat out for quite some time. On top of that, the only non-wine alcoholic drink left in the whole restaurant was one bottle of Brahma, which didn't even fizz/pop when the cap was cracked off and was as flat and watery as the proverbial London pint of old... A very poor meal indeed.

The decor is bordering on a "2" but overall I think it is just very standard. There are a dozen or so tables outside (in this beautiful setting...), but I think that's mainly because it is quite small inside. There are 8 tables/chairs sets in the front (with some papery red raspberry shaped light shades above them) - with about 15 tables in the back section. The back section is a little more tightly laid out, with green bottles for the lighting - and a few pieces are artwork decked on the walls.

I couldn't fault the one member of staff (except if I get food poisoning...) so they (he) did as expected!
