I ordered online for take away. The website froze and subsequently double charged me. However the staff did notice check and sort this, after a 15 min at least wait. They were very kind about it all. Sadly the wait was long despite my advanced order as they were busting with business... much longer than just cooking chips. Which was further extended as they verified the double cost issue and then despite the good intention of making sure I had everything in the bag. They had run out of one item and needed to replace it which was a shame but I understood as they were swamped. By time we got food home it was cold which hindered experience. My daughters veggie fingers were burnt and soggy as they chilled loke all the food and she was really upset as it wasn't really edible. I would recommend stores phoning customers with suspicious double orders to verify in advance and preparing food in advance for takeaway, and keep them warm and ready to go quick. I understand the chips are cooked on spot for freshness but my chips weren't fresh at all due to waiting. I expected to walk in and wait ten mins not 40 plus. All in all I understand why it was dissapointing and I'd still happily eat at nandos but takeaway seems a waste of time and money for service as is. A few small improvements could easily resolve this.
