Stopped in on this Nando's after a few days in Cardiff. It's located on the Talbout Green SHopping Park (T9), which is home to large department stores such as Argos, Next, Sportsdirect and a few other eateries such as F&B's and Chiquito. There are hundreds of free spaces for up to four hours parking - and the nearest train station, Pontyclun, is about 1.5 mile walk away.

Arrived here around 11:30am and it had only been open for 30 minutes, so wasn't busy - and I was one of only two tables in use, which meant the food came lightning quick in under five minutes. I went for the half chicken with chips and rice and it was delicious. A very good sized chicken, smothered in sauce, very juicy, piping hot and white meat throughout. The rice and chip portion were average sizes and cooked just right.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, with the ever more common red half dome lightshades and big long frilly red paper shades surrounding the lighting and also the spiral spinny disc style things. A good variety of seating and plenty of artwork on the walls.

Staff were pleasant and doing as expected.
