I recently came to Taunton nandos for my brothers 13th birthday. He was very excited as it was his first trip here. To start with all the staff were really friendly, pollite and all round you could see they were enjoying working for the company.
The manager came over and was really pleasant to my brother (and Us). He recommended a few things from the menu and we soon settled on a couple platters. My mum has allergies and asked for a plain chicken but was told that it still has slight spices on, but the manager offered a portion of chips on the house and a cup of coffee which went down very well!
Soon after the food arrived and I have to say, it tasted great!. I've been to quite a few different nandos across the country and this one in my opinion is head and shoulders above the rest.
After the main course we were offered dessert (a cake was put behind the counter before my brother arrived so it was just to trick him). Then outcame his cake with lit candles and all the staff around who started singing happy birthday.
Never before have I ever seen a nandos franchise song happy birthday, I was shocked to be honest.
The amount of effort that went into making my brother have a great birthday meal was amazing. I simply can't fault any of the staff as they were brilliant 1000% sure I will be eating there again
