Teddington - G-Crate Review
The excitement I felt when we found out a Nando's restaurant was opening five minutes walk from our office (and Teddington train station) was, I can only assume, the same level of elation felt by those who believe the second coming is imminent. We were counting the minutes till opening day; our anticipation rising with each passing lunchtime, knowing that our lives were soon about to change forever.
This restaurant did not disappoint.
The large open windows allow for a bright and cheerful atmosphere and, because the restaurant is shielded from the road by their raised terrace and small fence, it is a great place to spend a relaxing lunch or evening meal. The staff are friendly, although the personalised service has dropped slightly since Michael has left, and we have never had a single complaint about the food - which always arrives promptly and is cooked to perfection with the moist chicken dropping off the bone.
While the restaurant (like most Nando's) can often get busy around midday, this establishment boasts a secluded 'booth table', which is perfect when a small group of you want to be somewhere a little more chilled. Just ask your greeter and they'll be happy to seat you there, as long as it's free and we're not there already!
