Tooting - Marc Joss Review
Tooting Nando's is a five-minute walk from Tooting Broadway station which is on the Northern line. It was quiet as I walked in and there was even a workman with a ladder which made me panic thinking I'd embarked on a wasted journey to South London to visit a closed Nando's! Luckily that wasn't the case and I was given a table near the tills and drinks station.
This Nando's has a downstairs with additional seating and toilets. There are some cool Barcelo pieces which caught my eye but all in all decor is fairly average and you'd imagine a refurb is in the offing in the not-so-distant future. Some lighting pieces looked rather worn.
Food came after around 10 minutes and didn't look the best. Not much peri salt, the end of the wing (my favourite part) was minuscule and the garlic bread looked funny. It did taste good, however, and manager Kasia kindly provided an additional breast piece when I mentioned my chicken issue. I ended up eating 3/4s of a chicken and was completely stuffed at the end of it.
Nando's 176 conquered!
