Toronto - Queen West - Marc Joss Review
Having spent a memorable night at Niagara Falls, the first Nando's stop of Jossymoon was Toronto after getting the train to Canada's most populous city. We got to Union Station on Wednesday evening and jumped in a taxi straight to Nando's.
We arrived around 21:00 and chose an outdoor table which was lovely and surrounded by impressive floral displays. Given that it was quite late, they had unfortunately run out of chicken skewers and livers, but I fancied giving their chicken wrap a try and it was a wonderful decision.
Canadian wraps are incredible. There are chunks of cucumber and tomato inside, the sauce is delicious and it holds together very well. Most importantly the chicken is succulent and so spicy! Peri fries were the perfect accompaniment and the garlic mashed potatoes were also sublime!
It's a definite 5/5 for food and the staff were very attentive to our every need. Although they don't serve mayonnaise, manager Merah brought over some perinaise which was particularly good with the mash and also for dipping the wrap in.
We rounded off the meal with Nando's Kisses which is dark chocolate ice cream centred in milk chocolate ice cream rolled in ground milk chocolate. We loved it! The dessert game is certainly strong here! What a great Nando's!
