Welcome one and all to the Uber King Of All Nandos ... the much hallowed and talked about Vauxhall branch. Yes this branch really is peri peri good! And here's why it hits the spot ... from the moment you walk through the revolving doors you feel like Clarke Kent changing into Superman as you are indeed greeted like a superhero by the many attentive and extremely good looking staff, whisked to your table where that all important cock on a stick is placed down to signify you have arrived. But if you aren't quite ready to order, there's an ultra high class lounge area, where comfy sofas and designer lighting, even a potted plant or two help you relax and ponder in style whether the sauce on your nandos will be as breathtaking as the decor. The fixtures and fittings are unlike anything ever seen in a nandos before - why it's like Buckingham Palace had a boot sale. As your order is taken and you retire to your seats you can watch your meal being cooked in the diner style open kitchen area. The feast arrives, just moments later with delectable juicy moist chicken - my only criticism is that the chips could have been slightly crispier, and the sauce bottles weren't quite as plentiful as they should be in a jam packed branch. After a meal, none other than the manager of this impressive branch comes around tables to take well deserved compliments from his happy guests with a request of not only would you like a coffee or desert, but would you like more chicken? The knowing look in his eyes that most guests probably say please sir, can i have some more? After any hearty meal you need time to unload and at Vauxhall Nandos you can unload to your hearts content in the 4 bathrooms, 2 for each sex (and wouldn't surprise me if many couples take the chance to enjoy the premiere facilities too). The funky mood music plays in all areas and you find yourself shimmying and shaking out of this amazing restaurant to shouts of goodbye and come again soon from the teary eyed staff who have served you as they would a friend. Well done Nandos, i have seen the future of peri chicken establishments!
