Victoria - Cardinal Place - Ryan Review
Was in London for a few hours during lunch so decided to have three lunches! This Nando's was my first stop and was here when it opened its doors at 11 and I was the only person in there for the whole time I was there - albeit it was less than 15 minutes...
It's located in the Cardinal Place shopping centre, so easily found by being a 5 minute walk or so from Victoria station. It's not the biggest of branches, but the few tables that are in here are of a good mix. Very standard decor - dark wooden walls and wooden ceiling, reddish upholstery and just the odd splashes of colour with a canvas painting on the left wall and some very small paintings on the stairwell up to the toliets. A couple of light boxes for the lighting but mainly spot lighting. Toliets were also very small, but clean. Very standard.
I had the fillet burger and chips and was very pleased with the first order of the day! The chicken breast fillet was easily the thickest and juiciest I've ever had served on a burger in Nando's, so was a great start! Barely any sauce on it though and infact I think there was just mayonnaise and they'd forgotten the peri-peri... Chips were piping hot and crispy and a reasonable sized portion indeed. Just a shame it wasn't cooked in the sauce...
Staff were pleasant enough but did everything as expected. I did still have my cock at the end... but, seeing as though the food came in 4 minutes and I then whoomfed it down in another 4 minutes... I didn't give them enough time to check on me, so will let them off!
