Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:
This was a great visit in all areas except the chicken which some might argue is the most important aspect of Nando's! Having already been here for an outstanding meal on dry run day back in October, I came with KJ for lunch and we were offered our choice of table on a quiet Monday lunchtime.
We opted for a table near the front with very comfortable leather seats with arms and the food arrived within 10 minutes. The portion sizes were good, so many peri chips and not at all stingy on the peri salt, thumbs up! My issue was with the chicken as it wasn't spicy enough for my liking nor was it dripping in sauce. I polished it off all the same but was unable to finish the chips.
All the Nandocas were very smiley and enthusiastic although their happiness might have been generated by the relatively calm nature of the restaurant at the time! Either way, I will be back and there's a good chance our next Reviewer Dinner will be held here in February 2014!
