Wembley - Designer Outlet - Ryan Review
I've heard many people say "the best view of Wembley, is in your rear view mirror" - but I think with the massive redevelopment gone on around here, it at least gives a place for people to go. It may still be a concrete jungle with the massive Holiday Inn and Wembley Plaza along the Royal Route, but there's at least some more reason to stop off in the Brent area now... plus there's a Cineworld at the Outlet!
The London Designer Outlet is in the shadow of the Wembley arch, so a nice landmark to view as you exit the Red Car Park (which is the nearest). It'll cost you £3/2hrs, £5.50/4hrs, £8/6hrs and then it starts to rise steeply at £20/8hrs and upwards from there. Free parking is available when spending a minimum of £30 - not sure how you get the ticket validated but probably head to Customer Services before paying!
Wembley Train station is a five minute walk away and Wembley Central and Wembley Park tube stops are half a mile walk away.
Being my second Nando's lunch of the day, I went for another chicken fillet burger and chips and what came (in 10 minutes) was a veritable feast of chips. The chips portion covered the entire plate and the burger was placed on top! Hot and crispy chips that had just come out the fryer so felt a bit sick after them all... The chicken breast fillet was also thick and juicy and smothered in sauce. Two big slices of tomato and lots of lettuce too - so this really did come up trumps!
The Nando's itself was nicely decorated too. Nice wicker style lightshades with a huge wicker effect cladding on the walls/ceiling. Spacious seating a plenty of booths as well. Plenty of "outside" seating too.
Staff doing everything as expected.
