This is a great Nando's - hidden away in a corner of the top floor at a big designer outlet, around 200 yards from Wembley Stadium. Which is where I found myself on this April Monday night en route to Tottenham v Watford and needing an early dinner. A quick phonecall to the Rate Your Nando's co-founder to get directions later, and I was outside.

Top tip - if you go there on an 'Event Day' (when there's an event on at Wembley Stadium) you can park in the Red Car Park for free if you spend £40 in the Outlet Mall (including in Nando's).

It seems I was not the only football fan with the same idea though, as at 1745 I was told the queue (which was 20 deep and outside the restaurant - picture attached) would be at least 15 minutes.

Eight minutes later, I was told the queue would be another 10 minutes.

Exactly one minute after that, Rafael whispered to me that if I wouldn't mind waiting three minutes, he would get me a great table.

And so it happened, at 1756, 11 minutes after being told there would be at least at 15 minute queue, I was taken to a huge booth, for one. Two minutes after that a hot coffee was delivered by Joanna, worried I was cold after waiting outside. Eight minutes after that my food arrived - one of the shortest waits in history - and remarkable given the size of the queues and how full the restaurant was. Not one free space. Apart from in my booth, where there were several free spaces - all for me!

The food was great. One of the biggest and most succulent chicken wraps I've eaten (check out the picture!) There was so much hot sauce dripping from the wrap I didn't need to add any to my sweet potato wedges!

35 minutes after I was told I'd have a 15 minute queue, I was walking out of the restaurant having demolished a lovely meal and off to watch the mighty Tottenham Hotspur move a step closer to Champions League qualification!
