RYN17 marked exactly a year since I first crumbled to Marc's powers and I've not missed a dinner since. West Hampstead is an easy branch to find; walking distance from the trifecta of stations (Tube/Thameslink/Overground) as well as both Finchley Road and Finchley Road & Frognal stations. It's a pretty small branch - the smallest I've been to host a RYN dinner but we were given the well decorated back section, just up a mini flight of stairs. It was very cluttered and seating was a bit odd but staff evidently made the most of what they had to work with - and Barci even made an appearance, which is always welcome.

Another raffle, and another winless start to the dinner. At least it means I'm virtually guaranteed to be first to order. Food took a while to come as the queue snaked round the branch, the only blemish on what was an otherwise solid 4/5 visit. Staff get a 5 based on their overall cooperation on the evening; food was decent and I quite liked the branch, even in spite of the size. Nicely decorated and a well located sauce station (and they even laid out a mini station for us).
