Whitechapel - jackie molyneux Review
Once we arrived at Whitechapel Tube Station, the branch was fairly easy to find. Just turn left and walk past The Blind Beggar pub (famously a Kray Twins old haunt).
However, the Nando sign could've been bigger & brighter and easier to spot. Actually thought it was closed down as we approached. The restaurant entrance opens up to the food ordering counter AND the seating queue AND the takeaway waiting area. Feel this could be slightly better organised. Just a thought!
The young lady who took my order helpfully advised my selection would not be classed as a 'combo meal' - that's the 1st time anyone has advised me this.
Our table was squished in beside a big pillar and we seemed to be in the way, we were surrounded by large tables for 8 or 10 people. The noise level was very very high. yes..........take ear-plugs!!! My food was good and 'temperature' hot but not spicy hot. I wish it could've been spicier, but that's just me. Had my usual order, & the sweet mash was very good and smooth.
The ladies loo could've been nicer. just a bit tired & slightly tatty.
