Widnes - Archive Review

We arrived a family of 7 was told we would have to wait 30-40 min which on Saturday tea time I can understand but was told we would have to stand in the porch so we decided we would go to frankie and bennys for a drink so after 25 mins my son, husband ,and grandson went back to nandos while the girls stayed in frankie and bennys so we wouldn't miss our table we were still waiting 60 mins later we were very cold the manager in a blue blouse said we couldn't stand inside as we would get in the way o f the food going past so we went back in the cold porch ,my daughter noticed a table free but they sais it was only for 6 s o we just said we would make room as by. This time we were cold and hungry. My husband and daughter went And ordered we spent £109 we then received are meal 20 mins later but we had ordered starters which hadn't arrived so staff returned food by this time we had just had enough so we went to tell them to just return the money for the starters which they did we had ordered chicken wing and garlic bread but they only returned the money for the chicken the manager behind who was in the kitchen came and apologised about the mix up but not once did the manger in the blue blouse say anything but as we had finished are meal and very nice it was! we got the chicken wings oh the garlic bread came half way through the meal what a nightmare
