Wimbledon - Gerry Louis Review
Got there around half six, were greeted and seated straight away. Less than ten minute wait for two quarter chickens, one free, sweet mash, garlic bread and halloumi. Everything was fine, cooked well, plenty of mash and no burnt bits whatsoever. I even got two breast bits of chicken smothered in sauce, it was great!
My friend got her nando's card which the young gent behind the til explained to her how it worked but she's stopped eating chicken. She chose the mushroom wrap thing which she was happy with apart from the huge tomato inside it. The restaurant has nice walls which was sort of mosaic, with a discreet downstairs toilet in the back.
As you enter the branch there is a cage type thing from ceiling to floor where people have filled out comment slips about their meals. The upstairs area has plenty of seating and i second counter and drinks area. Their soft drinks section has been streamlined into one machine which is easier for cleaning but you can only do one drink at a time.
It's a less than ten minute walk from the overground and underground train station. There are so many buses that come into wimbledon from the south like tooting or streatham or the west like richmond. All round good branch
