Wimbledon - Pompey Ranger Review

This store is a short walk away from the Wimbledon train station and is right opposite the New Wimbledon Theatre. Spread over 2 storeys with french windows on the ground floor capable of opening up onto the street though the floor level is lover inside the store and featuring seating on the pavement for those that like to sit outside.

The store was well turned out with good decor and interesting colours complementing the simple scandinavian style wooden chairs. The toilets are upstairs and are also clean, in addition there is more seating and a second till and serving area upstairs. They had a new style beverage dispenser that excited me at first till I realised that it only had the same normal flavours and wasn't akin to the dispensers of American Nandos and Burger king in the uk with amazing flavours, disappointingly it would mean you can only fill one glass at a time so the old style dispensers are better.

The staff were friendly and pleasant, but didn't do a check back which is a bit disappointing.

The chicken came out burnt and missing skin, I don't know if the chicken had been killed as road kill or dehydration but it was mangled on the grill and dried out, not how i would like or expect it and certainly not how i would serve chicken to guests at home. The rice could have been more plentiful but at least the chips were ok.
