After entering the restaurant my girlfriend and I saw at least 3 empty tables, but still had to wait 20+ minutes for a table for two.

20 minutes after placing my order a member of staff said there was a mix-up and my half chicken would be another 20 minutes, or I could try a new dish they were trialling which apparently "is absolutely amazing".

This was a boneless piece of Nandos chicken about the size of my iPhone, hardly 'amazing'.

I was asked what I thought of this new creation, and i replied "its alright" and the waiter replied "we did overhype it didnt we?" Charming.

So I was recommended this new dish as a way of compensation for the mix-up and was highly disappointed, not only with the product, but the false hype the dish was given by staff to sweeten me up.

This goes hand in hand with the grubby walls, flickering light above me and staff that run around like headless chickens (no pun intended) overall I was not impressed and will not be going back to the Woking branch.
