This branch is amazing, and I can see why it's average score is four though not many people have done reviews, they keep up their level of service to 100%!

Got to the branch just before 2pm, driving straight from work and parking in the local not-NCP. I didn't have to pay but we were in town for a few hours shopping and eating and perusing in the library but £5.20 for four hours doesn't seem too bad. There are other parking spaces, and some on street if you can find it but beware parking officers who we saw giving someone a ticket. The branch is about five minutes walk from Woking Rail station also so very easy to get to. Big red parasols outside it was hard to miss, the branch itself inside is actually very small but cosy.

Vicki is one of the best servers/maitre'd ' ever! Great customer service skills, welcoming, very helpful, there when you need with a smile on her face. My secondary order of half chicken mango and lime, peri chips and garlic bread at a new price of £10.10 although I had managed to find an unused gift voucher so the meal cost me only ten pence. Great start to a week of birthday celebrations.

Only an eight minute wait for the food, we took the time to look around the restaurant at the decorations and they were amazing. On the ceiling as you enter to the end at the back is a cascade of green bottles, some top down and some bottom down coming from the roof. On the wall at the back were multiple square pictures, possible mini versions of larger pictures found at all Nando's branches, which covered the whole wall to the front glass window pane. There were some light bulbs hanging down with large coils around them, and some bare bulbs hanging down with different colours. There were also some hanging under what can be described as a burnt scotch egg chopped in half with only the breadcrummy bit? All the tables had a rustic type of look with the chairs like from school days with bright yellow legs.

The food was great. It's been a while since my last Nando's and when the food is this good I miss the days I used to do three or four a week. Eight minutes it arrived with Jackie's who only waited six minutes for the new churrasco burger extra extra extra hot... The chicken was smothered in sauce, plenty of chips and peri spice and the garlic bread was nicely done, no burnt bits and a decent size roll. I could eat all the chicken because it was a bit dry towards the middle of the breast but that's the only reason they didn't get a five...

The toilets were great, individual cubicles with sinks and dryers inside, kept very clean. I nearly followed Jackie into hers thinking it was the door to the loos until she said 'you coming in with me' and showed me that it was single occupancy. It is very cleverly done and the toilet waiting area is kept bright by the yellow wall and the Nando's legend story.

All in all, job well done to all the staff who keep this restaurant going. The front area where most of the eaters was regularly monitored and kept clean, and I'm sure in summer when it is hotter they'll make full use of the outside seating area. Til then, keep up the good work.
