This Nando's is on a small complex which is also home to a Vue cinema, with the Nando's being nestled between a McDonald's and a Sam's 99p store... It's just over the road from Wood Green tube station and parking is also available in the next door complex (The Gym/Mecca Bingo) for £2/hr Mon-Sun. Alternatively free parking is available a half mile walk away down High Road at Morrisons or just a few minutes walk away down High Road is Wood Green Shopping Centre (The Mall) which offers parking at £1/1hr, £2/3hrs, £3 all day generally Mon-Sun 6am-1:30am.

What I was hoping to see most about this Nando's was the mural by the entrance, but looking at Pompey's photos compared to the Nando's I was in... there's been a refurb and now there is no mural! In its place what you have is a plain beige wall that has a light pattern/shadow cast by a few template/stencils hanging down from the ceiling and light being shone through these. Something a little different... but I think the mural would have been better!

Also it seems like the seating has changed and you now have a couple of large circular booths by the entrance (and a few square booths) underneath five large and high wicker arches (full ceiling height). Down past the drinks machine and sauce station you have a long bench style seating with lots of two-seater tables and the walls here are covered with lots bright canvas paintings. Upstairs in the sort of mezzanine style terrace there are a few more red-leather booths and further bales/chair sets which including the 10 or so tables outside, means there are probably nearly 60 tables in this Nando's. There are also some nice upside-down goldfish bowls (or so they seemed) for the lighting upstairs. Toilets are upstairs too and spick and span. A good effort indeed!

I got to this Nando's at about 8:15pm and it was about half full, so no time to wait when ordering and the food came in 8 minutes. As I was off to another Nando's afterwards, I had the chicken burger and rice and it was the best burger I've had for a while. It was a large but thick and juicy chicken breast, covered in sauce with a huge slice of tomato and loads of lettuce crammed into the bun. The rice was an average sized portion but hot and spicy!

I would love to give top marks to the staff as it only seemed to be hot brunette women (at least six of them), but in reality they just did as expected :-)
