Comments - Stand out in our monthly competition! What did you eat? Unique aspects? Parking/transport tips?:
Be careful not to follow sat navigation or the map or it will take you to Yate shopping centre, you want Riverside complex which is next to it but with its own parking, like it's name it is by the River but has made no use of it other than a possible run off for the car park, a big missed opportunity.
The Store is below TKMAX and within a short walk of the cinema, with loads of parking.
The Store was neigh on empty when I arrived at 5ish. Staff friendly enough, but a bit slow and no check back until well after I'd finished and was getting ready to leave. I was disappointed that they forgot the peri sprinkle on my chips and I had to wait 7 minutes for them to go get some peri sprinkle in a little dish I guess they got lost. Also the chips were a diet version and very sparse. The chicken however was very good and succulent.
A good variety of seating and the store was very clean, including the toilets. The beverage machine was one of those naff new ones that can only dispense one at a time and you have to press the same greasy screen as everyone else has. I'd tolerate this system a lot happier if it had varied flavours like BK or Harvester.
