York - City Centre - Elliott Review
Arrived York City centre outlet with Gerre, an outlet I have visited many many times before. Entered, and were shown to a table.
The staff were pretty friendly, even engaging in some banter when we arrived. Ordering process was fairly simple and as expected.
The front of the outlet has been cleaned and re-arranged since my last visit. The waiting area has been moved from the right hand side as you enter, to next to the till. This makes them quite cramped when many people are waiting. However this does mean that the seating area isn't as cramped by the windows.
The meal arrived after 19 minutes, and was fairly mediocre. I ordered 5 wings mango and lime with Chocolate Gelado. The wings were OK, a little lacking in spice. The Gelado was a little soft by time I came to eat it.
Decoration is the same as my last visit, and still looks quite tired. It could do with a clean and a spruce up.
Overall a good little outlet, but if you have time, Monks Cross (Vanguard) is much better!
