I’ve not been to a Nando’s for a long time so decided to give it another go with a friend of mine. Unfortunately the experience wasn’t as I had remembered from the past, the theming (especially at the far back of the restaurant) is bleak and bare, there’s no warm ambience whatsoever compared to when I went in the past and it literally felt you were dining in a Portuguese restaurant. It could do with some sprucing up as parts of the restaurant look rather drab and dated.

Staff were a delight! Couldn’t fault them! Decided to get a takeaway because they were really busy. Food was perfect!

This was the most disappointed I've ever been in a Nando's....
It was Friday after xmas and making the most of the sales so I was surprised that we were able to get a table so quickly.. (Note I put Almost full as it was only 1 minute wait despite being such a busy day and 1pm at that!)

The toilets weren't clean (unisex) with stray hairs on the sink and the toilet rolls on the sanitary bins - reports from 2 separate toilets apparently show it was similar.

Admittedly, we visited a while back so I can't remember the exact date, but I've only just found this site so it's about time someone properly reviewed it.

Most people I know prefer Nando's Cheshire Oaks as this place just does not cut it.

As always, the food was top notch! Don't think I could never get sick of nandos. The staff were probably the friendliest I'd ever come across, and the service was great! Quick and efficient and the food was delivered promptly and piping hot. I'd never been to the Nandos in Chester before so the decor was refreshing and quite interesting. Definitely enjoyed being there as it was a nice place, not only because I was having my favourite Nandos!
